Presented at the Somerset House London, the body of work as a collection of craft objects reflects on the interwoven complexity of ecology. Various states of materials – solid, liquid, fragmented, powdered, vaporised – are explored in the objects, demonstrating Scarlett Yang’s research in manifesting the fluidity and transience of both material and immaterial elements, and communicating new aesthetics, such as the virtual, the scientific and the logic.
